
Combine all the ingredients except butter in a bowl and mix well. Add enogh water to make stiff dough. Cover ans set aside for 10-15 minutes
Knead dough for a few minutes until it becomes smooth. divide the dough into 12 equal balls.
Preheat the oven to 350 degree F. Place the balls (baati) on a greased plate and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes on the middle rack. Turn them over and bake again for about 15-20 minutes, or until a few brown spots appear on both sides.
Remove from oven , place between paper towels and press from both sides with the palms. Spread butter on them and serve warm with toovar dal and sugar
